The Accelerated Intelligence Story
In 1982 the attraction of competing as floor trader motivated Ray Burchett to step away from his work as a CPA for Arthur Andersen and immerse himself into the world of futures trading. There were no gray areas in the trading pit. You either made the trade or you didn’t. Only those who could achieve and sustain the highest levels of awareness, ability, and integrity survived. Ray's experiences reinforced his core belief that success is dependent upon earning the trust and support of others.
In 1997 Ray co-founded Local Knowledge to develop and support ‘screen traders’ and became a pioneer of on-line training. The combination of an athletic background, trading, trader development, management, and catastrophic trading experiences (Black Monday, Bursting of the Tech Bubble; 9/11) provided the insights allowing him to link high performance to Intuitive Function.
In 2004 Ray stepped away from trading and commercialized Intuitive Development Training by integrating it with management software to create an unprecedented level of transparency empowering individuals, teams, and organizations to filter, process, and apply information most effectively. Dr. Chris Hahn, an expert on quantitative and qualitative analysis and research authority worked with Ray to develop proprietary instruments measuring Intuitive Potential. Intuitive Potential represents the probability individuals, teams, groups, and organizations will consistently outperform by best anticipating and fulfilling the needs of others.
In 2009 futures traders began using Intuitive Development to push their decision making further and further ahead of price movement. By 2011 Intuitive Development Training had gained the attention of the Department of Homeland Security. These interests lead to a pilot training in the spring of 2015. Senior Intelligence Officers in 8 Midwestern States learned how to apply the Intuitive Development Process to see further out on the threat horizon. Dr. Hahn recruited Brigadier General Kendall Switzer USAF (Ret.) to advise on this initiative.
General Switzer’s unique military background as an U.S. Naval Academy Graduate (Navy); F/A-18 Fighter Pilot/Instructor (Marine Corps); TOPGUN Graduate; Naval Strike Warfare Instructor; Blue Angel Pilot; Air National Guard F-16 Pilot/Instructor (USAF); and Command responsibilities for units deploying world-wide combined with his work in the private sector building high performance teams in the construction, oil, gas, and mining industries have made him an expert on Intuitive Function and High Performance Team Building. General Switzer was so impressed with the power of Intuitive Development Training and integrated management software he joined Dr. Hahn and Ray Burchett in 2015 to help lead Accelerated Intelligence LLC.
